Eze's Boyhood Dream | Historic Hat-Trick, Arsenal Forever | North London Derby 4-1

First Arsenal hat-trick in the derby since '78.

Eberechi Eze. North London. November 2025. The kid from Greenwich who used to ride the bus to Highbury picked up the phone and said no to Spurs, signed for the team his shirt already belonged to, and put three past them in his first derby. Forty-seven years of waiting, settled in ninety minutes.

THE MOMENT

The last Arsenal player to score a hat-trick in the North London Derby was Alan Sunderland in 1978. The 2025 NLD did not need a hat-trick to be famous; Eze made it inevitable. Final: 4–1. Stadium: Emirates. Tifo: every kid in red who ever stood outside Highbury hoping the bus driver was a Gooner.

THE CODE

The design is the No. 10 with three marks under it — one for each goal, in the order they went in. The boyhood-Gooner layer is the rest of it: he was within a phone call of going to Spurs in the summer of 2025, and the phone call he took instead is what every match-going Arsenal supporter would have made for him if they could. The hat-trick is the receipt that the call was right.

WEAR IT

Derby day. Away day. Any pub in N5 the morning after. The bus to Emirates.
