48 Hours to Nepal | Unisex Softstyle T-Shirt

48 hours. One government. Down.

In September 2025, Nepal banned twenty-six social media platforms in a single decree. Within forty-eight hours, Gen Z had taken Kathmandu, parliament was on fire, and the prime minister had resigned. The split-flap on the back is the schedule. The clock on the wall is yours.

THE STORY

September 4: the ban on Facebook, X, Instagram, WhatsApp, and twenty-two others. September 8: the streets fill. By September 9, Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli has resigned, parliament is burning, and the army has stepped in. More than seventy people are dead. Sushila Karki — the country's first woman chief justice — is sworn in as interim head of government. The bans get lifted. The platforms come back. The kids who organized through Discord during the blackout do not forget what just happened.

THE RECEIPT

Front: 48 HOURS TO NEPAL, with the Wake Orange bolt underneath. Back: a split-flap departure board reading DEPARTURE → WASHINGTON DC | ARRIVAL → NEPAL | DURATION → 48 HOURS | STATUS → ON TIME. The board is the joke. The bolt is the strike. The duration is the only stat that matters when a government tries to take the phones away.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Systems don't fall over decades. They fall on Tuesday. They fall when enough people decide that the inconvenience of being silenced is greater than the inconvenience of being in the street. The Nepali kids did it in two days, with phones their government tried to confiscate. The schedule is portable.
